Rock Machines Laboratory

This Lab focuses on core respond analysis into force fluid by a mediation from its physics environment, for understanding into rock mechanic source translation, rotation, statistics or force dynamics into solid substance then, two consideration where a thing cannot move translation or rotation is linear velocity. Change value and angular think into time should be equal to zero. This will be enough to guarantee the realization of condition were force resultant should be equal to zero. This connection is said that thing in static condition, this condition constitutes general frame or basic in rock mechanic study.
Based on deformation result came out with compassion and frequency, so it is classified into two type of test result namely , static test where deformation occurred very small and its frequency is very high where deformation dynamic test occurred it achieved maximum or achieved maximum power from the test rock but the frequency is zero. The result of test based on compassion test on frequency so rock mechanic lab can conduct the test :

UCS (Unixial Compressive Strength) namely is an activity came out to test the power of rock with the maximal burden From its rock it self,CPV (Compressibility Pore Volume) is an activity came out to test the change of volume pore fraction with the change in certain pressure.Acoustic Velocity is an activity came out to test wave velocity which is passed into the rock so that it is found out the length time. Where as the wave velocity obtained namely primary wave velocity and secondary wave velocity.


• In terms of physic elastic characteristics from a rock resulted in each parameter and own themselves.
The application of rock mechanic in the petroleum are among others :
• In the drilling, it can carry out the stability test of drilling hole
• In the protection, it can carry out rand test which is produced; to carry out rock cracking test with hydraulic pressure
• In reservoir, it can analyze induction related to porosity and fluid saturation existing inside it.

This lab is equipped with the latest equipment such as :

• Triaxial Compressive Strength tester
• Pore volume compressibility tester
• Acoustic velocity

And other equipment to measure rock parameter

Green Diesel
Teknologi Green Diesel untuk pengolahan minyak nabati menjadi minyak diesel diharapkan dapat memberikan kualitas dan kuantitas yang lebih baik sebagai pensubstitusi minyak solar yang berbasis petroleum.


CNG/SENJI
Salah satu energi alternatif pengganti BBM di sektor rumah tangga adalah gas senji, dimana ketersediaan gas di Indonesia sangat melimpah dan harga konsumsinya tanpa subsidi.


Kebijakan energi nasional mengamanatkan pemanfaatan energi nasional yang efektif dengan mengusahakan penggunaan energi alternatif pengganti BBM untuk menekan subsudi pemerintah.


Substitusi minyak tanah rumah tangga dengan senji merupakan salah satu program pemerintah untuk menggantikan minyak tanah dengan gas senji sesuai dengan amanat Undang-undang no 22 tahun 2001 dan kebijakan energi nasional.


BIODIESEL
Pilot plant biodiesel Lemigas adalah suatu unit produksi biodiesel yang berfungsi untuk mereaksikan umpan minyak nabati seperti minyak kelapa sawit (CPO), minyak jarak pagar, minyak kelapa, minyak jelantah serta minyak nabati lainya.


Teknologi Green Diesel untuk pengolahan minyak nabati menjadi minyak diesel diharapkan dapat memberikan kualitas dan kuantitas yang lebih baik sebagai pensubstitusi minyak solar yang berbasis petroleum.
